The Prime Minister Mr. Nuri Al-Maliki said during his presence to festival of martyrdom which was held in AL-Mustansiriya University: here in al-Mustansiriya University biggest crime was committed on the students who are representing the animation of science, crafts, opinion, characters, and humanity, noting that Universities at the period of former regime were as centers of intelligence offices and Baath, but now this expired.
The prime minister invited that political parties' competition must be secluded from universities, so that the student should not loss some of his time without benefit from science and education, when the status of universities was for Baath party and his intelligence, this has leaded to loss intellectual and good student, while the Baathist was getting degrees by his party activities, but today the degrees that the student gets it must be according scientific level and not according party privileges sectarianism or denomination,
He added: the terrorists committed this crime towards the masters and students whom working to rise the scientific level in order to build new Iraq, the steps were clear despite difficult periods, big challenges, adventures, cancellation, and sectarianism, as a result of that, the education had a disaster, but by the efforts of masters and beneficent, the education has returned to refresh again,
And you today motivate the steps for science and building, this a natural rubric and a step to animate the human, but we find who stands against welfare and wanting the return of sectarianism, based on that their hands have extended to kidnap a group of our students, we have lost (85) from our sons in addition the injured, who committed this terrorist crime has proofed that he is against the life,
He continued: the terrorists whom have committed this crime are the enemies of Iraq and the heirs of former regime with allied from Al-Qaeda gang, aiming to raise spites, ignorance, and sectarianism, so to deformation of Baghdad, which they destroyed masques, bridges, the life and study were interrupted because of bad crows who corrupted every thing, and tried to snatch from us who we depending on them in building and development operation, sure today we are in front of two lines, the first is establishing the science, education, and development,
The second is establishing to the ignorance and savagery, but we trust our students because they are builders of future and banner carriers and they have to continue in their way to carry responsibility, the role of establishment is not exclusively in study only, but they have responsibility to carry the banner of Iraq that we want it to be noble and honorable, and not discrimination on denomination or sectarianism or nationality.
He added: when we imposed safety and realized success, the universities have completed their determination to complete education path, we have to prepare all the needs to the masters and students, therefore our efforts were just to prepare educations and scholarships opportunities and educational initiatives that including send (10000) students, we will continue this initiative despite financial crisis, the determination is continuing to develop the education in Iraq,
The prime minister said to the student: you have to carry the responsibility and patriotism; you can not carry this responsibility if you had discrimination, we are on the stage of completing fundamental build through next election, this need the determination of all because it is representing the last stage of Build series on the base of rights, equally and justice, I hope you be conscious to wide participation, it is not important who will win, but participation is important, the voters must select sincere and capable in free and honest status
